These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the These Skips Don't Lie mobile application and website operated by These Skips Don't Lie ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What These Skips Don't Lie Is
These Skips Don't Lie is a habit-tracking application. It lets you log purchases you chose not to make ("skips"), track streaks, set personal goals, and share activity with friends. It is a behavioral awareness tool — it does not move, hold, invest, or manage your money in any way.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@skipstashgirlmath.com.
You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
4. Your Content
You own the content you create in the app — your habits, skips, and goals. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content in order to operate the service, including showing your activity to friends you are connected with.
You agree not to enter false, harmful, or misleading information. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
5. Social Features
The app includes a social feed. When you log a skip, that activity — including the item name, amount, and timestamp — may be visible to users you have connected with. By using the social features, you consent to this visibility.
You agree not to use the social features to harass, impersonate, or harm other users. We may remove users who abuse social features without notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure
- Create accounts on behalf of others without their consent
- Use automated tools to access or interact with the service
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, spam, or harmful content
7. The Service "As Is"
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any financial decisions you make as a result of using the app.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately.
9. Intellectual Property
These Skips Don't Lie, its logo, design, and all original content created by us are our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary materials outside of normal app use.
10. Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
